About
Anna Weston is a Brisbane-based artist and speech pathologist with 25 years of clinical experience. Prior to the pandemic she travelled extensively with humanitarian, healthcare and environmental initiatives. Anna holds a lifelong fascination with the human condition, ergo her practice incorporates multilayered, autobiographical and psychological narratives. In 2025 she completed her Honours year at Queensland College of Art and Design - Griffith University, South Bank, Queensland.
In recent years Anna has won the Behlau Murakami Contemporary Portraiture Prize and was a finalist in the Macquarie Emerging Artist Prize, Alice Prize, Darling Portrait Prize and Portia Geach Memorial Award (twice). She has exhibited in group and solo shows.
