Anna Weston is a Brisbane based contemporary artist working across collage, drawing and painting. She has travelled extensively with humanitarian, healthcare and environmental initiatives. Weston holds a lifelong fascination with the human condition, ergo her practice incorporates multilayered, autobiographical and psychological narratives. At present she is excited to create paintings containing multifarious miniatures and satirical sub narratives.
In recent years Weston has won the Behlau Murakami Contemporary Portraiture Prize and was a finalist in the Alice Prize, Darling Portrait Prize and Portia Geach Memorial Award. She has exhibited in group and solo shows.
